Our other projects have finally been pushed aside and the work on the AWX RPM turnkey installation has moved forward.
We are now in a state, where we think there are only one or two days of work left, and this time will be spent finalizing the AWX VENV Control script and general testing.
Documentation might be sparse in the first version, but will be improved over time.
Hence the current status of the project is:
Dependency Parser 99%
SCL for EL8 99%
SPEC File generation 99%
RPM Building 99%
Installation script 99%
AWX VENV Control script 95%
Documentation 20%
The reason most of the items are only 99% done is because we need to finalize and do a couple of final tests before we consider the the turnkey application "done".
Thus as of today (August 6th, 2021), the estimated release date for the community test is August 10th, 2021.
